- Navik – Sailor (General Duty): Passed 10+2 with Mathematics and Physics from a Board of Education recognized by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
- Navik – Sailor (Domestic Branch): Passed Class 10th from a Board of Education recognized by the Council of Board of School Education (COBSE).
- Mechanical: Passed Class 10th from a Board of Education recognized by the Board of School Education (COBSE) and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) with a Diploma of 3/4 years duration in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics / Telecommunication (Radio / Power) Engineering or Class 10th and Class 12th passed from a Board of Education recognized by the Council of Board of School Education (COBSE) and “Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics / Telecommunication (Radio / Power) Engineering for a duration of 2/3 years approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
