TIME Magazine’s list of World’s Greatest Places of 2022 included Kerala and Ahmedabad ji

The southern state of India, Kerala, and the capital city of Gujarat, Ahmedabad is the two cities that are selected and taken entry into TIME Magazine’s list of World’s Greatest Places 2022.

Two places in India have been named this year in Time Magazine’s list of “50 Extraordinary Places to Explore”

Time Magazine listed the two cities of India the first one is the southern state of India, Kerala, and the second one is the capital city of Gujarat, Ahmedabad in the list of the world’s greatest places of 2022 and these were named among the “50 extraordinary destinations to explore”.

Kerala is one of the most beautiful places in India, it is also known as “God’s own country” for good reason, with spectacular beaches and lush backwaters, temples, and palaces in the state. Time Magazine said in the statement, “This year, Kerala is boosting motor-home tourism in India to inspire a new pas de deux of exploration and accommodation. The state’s first caravan park, Karavan Meadows, opened in Vagamon, a scenic hill station”.

Time Magazine said that “India’s first UNESCO World Heritage City, Ahmedabad boasts both ancient landmarks and contemporary innovations that make it a mecca for cultural tourism, from the serene Gandhi Ashram that sits on 36 acres on the banks of the Sabarmati River to Navratri, a vibrant nine-day celebration billed as the longest dance festival in the world.”

The Time also said that Ahmedabad is the Science city of Gujarat as it has a ” sprawling entertainment center and theme park”, last year Ahmedabad unveiled three major attractions in which it included 20-acre nature park to educate the people on local flora as well as provide new spaces for playing chess, and other outdoor games also and practicing yoga for maintain their health and keep healthy.

TIME said on Tuesday, “As persistent as the challenges of life in 2022 is the hope that understanding and human connection can be found through travel. So, with much of the global population now vaccinated against Covid-19, world travelers are again hitting the road—and the skies. The hospitality industry is reopening and excited to safely welcome them and revitalize local communities”.
