Nora Fatehi invests in Curefoods: After Varun Dhawan, Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi invested an undisclosed amount in Ankit Nagori’s CureFoods’ cloud kitchen startup and has also become the brand ambassador of CureFoods’ brand CakeZone, she follows Varun Dhawan who invested in Curefoods in April 2022. CakeZone sells a variety of cakes and pastries in 14 cities with 85 cloud kitchens currently operating mainly in South India and plans to expand by setting up 125 cloud kitchen stores in other regions by the end of this year.

Ankit Nagori, Founder of CureFoods, said, “Having Nora Fatehi as an investor in CureFoods is a close integration and her belief in our potential encourages us to take us to greater heights in the future. CureFoods is the fastest growing cloud kitchen in India, operating in 15 cities, the company was closed with funding by Winter Capital for $43 million, and includes brands such as EatFit, Aligarh House Biryani, and CakeZone. I believe in celebrating small things in life. Nora Fatehi said, “The offering from CakeZone is the perfect culinary art to add sweetness to those moments and I believe in the commitment of CureFoods and I am glad to invest in it.



CureFoods recently partnered with Hrithik Roshan’s HRX and is looking to expand into India, especially in the North Indian market, as shared by the startup. In the cloud kitchen feature, it faces a contest from Rebel Foods which operates more than 450 cloud kitchens across the country. As per reports, “India’s cloud kitchen market is projected to touch $2.5 billion by 2028, growing at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 17.5 percent during 2024-2028. In June 2022, Curefoods received $50 million in its Series C funding from investors, while it was funded by $80 million in equity and venture funds from Series A and Series B.
